Booking a holiday

Been searching for a holiday online. Anything decent is too bloody expensive. Got a couple of brochures from Althams yesterday. Why do brochures insist on showing you pictures of the hotels and tell you nothing about the place? It's what you want to do there that matters I'd stay in a log cabin with an outside privy if the place was interesting, and I wouldn't go in a 25 star hotel if all there was to do all day was to lie on a beach and spend the evenig getting pissed.
